Welcome to Physics B
Course Outline |
Please use these links, or the drop down on the pages above, to navigate through the course. Each unit's review video and additional resource will be posted on an individual page for that unit. Quick links can be found here to each unit. I will add the links and pages as I create the units/ resources and we move through the course together.
1. Grading Policy : If you do not like the grade you earned on a test or quiz, you can earn points back by completing the Test Correction Form Document that I have attached to this webmail, send it back to me with the question numbers, the questions, the correct answer, and a good explanation, and you can earn some points back. We can always go over things on the phone or in a LiveLesson too. 2. Temporary Zero Policy : I will be adding temporary zero's to the course each Monday, what this means is that you will receive a temporary zero for anything you have not completed that is overdue. Once completed the grade will be replaced with the one you earned. 3. LiveLessons/ Office Hours: Due to the small size of this class, I will not be hosting LiveLessons. However, I am available to schedule individual "office hours" or one-on-one help sessions should you request it. Just reach out to me through text/ call for a fastest response. 4. End of Course Grade Adjustments: Your lowest quick check grade will be dropped for each unit you complete all the quick checks for. If you missed a sample work, or for some reason your sample work category is not at 100%, reach out, this category is intended to help you by reflecting on your progress and performance throughout the class. The participation category is similar, if not at 100%, reach out and we can arrange a meeting to earn participation points. A good-faith, original effort attempt on a portfolio should earn you at least 50%, so at least TRY the portfolios as a 0% in this category will hurt your grade. You can earn points back on tests by completing corrections and/or meeting with me to review your test, so reach out. See the video below for how you are graded in this class. |
