Recorded Lesson
EXTRA CREDIT Study GuideWant to earn EXTRA CREDIT? Want to feel more prepared for your test? Not exactly sure WHAT you should be learning, understanding, or even taking notes on when going through each lesson? This is the opportunity for you!
I will be creating an EXTRA CREDIT Study Guide for each unit in the course and putting them on my website. This is a document that has open ended questions that go in order of the lessons in the unit. So as you go through each lesson, this will help you pick out the important info to learn and give you a place to record that info. Then when it comes time for the quiz, you can use these notes to help you! At the end of the unit, submit your study guide, no matter how complete, for some extra credit points. Download Below ![]()

Directions: You will choose a body of water near you (at least a good sized pond) and create a model for how a water contaminant can infiltrate your water reservoir. You will need to research an actual water contamination issue and how it affects your body of water.
- A good model includes pictures, with labels, arrows for directions and motion, and explanations. - Draw your body of water, show where the contaminant is located and how it gets to the body of water, show the critters and life that is affected by this contaminant in your body of water. - I do not expect you to be an artist, labeling a square as a fish is just as good! 3. Include a written explanation of your model including the following a. How your water sources gets contaminated (where it comes from) b. What it gets contaminated with c. What will happen to the water supply over the course of 5 years of ongoing contamination d. What we can do about it Don't feel like picking a body of water and contaminants on your own? Here is one you can use with lots of information and videos to support it
